As a high school teacher, I saw so many bright students with IEPs and 504 plans falling through the cracks. They were trying their best, but they needed more than just academic help; they needed a sustainable system.
That’s why I founded Executive Function Tutors. I combine my perspective as a teacher with my skills as a coach to help students organize, plan, and build confidence that lasts.

Lasting progress isn’t about the perfect app or a stricter schedule. It’s about building trust and creating systems that honor how your child’s brain actually works.
These four principles are the foundation of my approach:
I bring my experience as both a teacher and a coach to every session. This means we don't just tackle the homework in front of us; we build the skills for organization and follow-through that lead to lasting independence.
I know students often avoid the truth because they fear disappointment. We have "real talks" in a safe space to address challenges without blame and build accountability together.
I partner with parents and the school by providing consistent updates so your child is fully supported. This lets you step back from being the "task manager" and just be a parent again.
The biggest wins for me are the small, proactive steps a student takes on their own. We celebrate this real-world initiative as the true sign of growing confidence and independence.

Transformations from students and families like yours:
“I’ve worked with Presh since my junior year, and as I graduate and prepare for college, I feel incredibly fortunate for the experience. EF coaching has greatly impacted my life, helping me build motivation, strengthen academic skills, and gain tools that make me proud of myself and my work.”
Fiona
College Student
"We had a fantastic experience with EF Coach & Tutors this past year supporting our 6th grader. From start to finish, Presh was exceptional—organized, communicative, and incredibly effective. Our child gained confidence, improved academically, and actually looked forward to the sessions (!).
We always felt informed and supported as parents, which made a huge difference. Highly recommend EF Coach & Tutors to any family looking for personalized, thoughtful, and results-driven academic support. Presh, thank you for everything!"
John
Dad of a Middle Schooler
“We’ve been working with Presh for the last 2 months, and she’s been a God-sent to our son. Our son has ADHD and Presh has been instrumental in helping him get motivated, organized, and back on track with his schoolwork. She’s incredibly communicative and genuinely cares about our son’s success. We really appreciate her and everything she does.”

When a student isn’t being honest about their progress, it’s a critical moment. Here’s my approach to turn it into a breakthrough:
I see this as a sign of care, not dishonesty. Your child is often just afraid of disappointing someone they trust, and understanding this changes everything.
I start a safe, non-judgmental conversation to understand what's really going on. In these "real talks", I share what I'm observing and we talk through the gap between their intention and their action.
This process strengthens our trust and helps your child learn how to navigate fear and avoidance. It builds true accountability that comes from within, not from pressure or obligation.
The outcome of these tough moments is a more resilient, independent student. The real win is when they feel confident enough to take initiative on their own, like emailing a teacher or starting a project without a reminder. That shows that they’ve taken ownership of their learning journey.
For me, success isn’t just about a better GPA. It’s about the small, unprompted behaviors that show your child is building real independence.
Progress is when a student takes initiative on their own by:
These are the small wins that show a big transformation.
I believe in practicing what I preach, that stepping out of our comfort zone is where the real growth happens. When I’m not helping students build systems, I’m usually learning something new myself.
My Hobbies:
I enjoy basketball & running, and most recently I’m learning how to swim as an adult (it’s a whole journey in itself, but I’m enjoying it!).
Fun Fact About Me:
I have a personal tradition of only getting haircuts when I travel in Asia. It once led to cutting off nearly eight inches of hair after a year and a half!
Choosing the right support for your child is a big decision.
