What's included in Level Up
Every week for eight weeks, your child gets:
- One 60-minute 1-on-1 session with their matched Executive Function tutor
- Up to 30 minutes of in-between support (session prep, text accountability, and weekly session notes)
- A personalized approach: every session is tailored to your child's goals, not a cookie-cutter curriculum

FAQ
How is this different from regular tutoring?
Regular tutoring focuses on a subject by getting through tonight's math homework or prepping for next week's essay. Level Up focuses on the skills underneath the schoolwork: organization, planning, time management, and follow-through. Our EF Tutors do teach academic content when it supports the bigger goal, but the real work is helping your child build systems they can use in any class, any subject, any year.
What if we're going on vacation during the 8 weeks?
That's expected. We build your family's vacation schedule into the Summer Gameplan before we start, and your tutor will adjust the pacing so your child doesn't lose momentum. If you need to pause for a week, we'll pick up where we left off and your credits will remain intact.
My child has already said they don't want to do this. Is Level Up still worth it?
Honestly, it depends. If your child is hesitant but open to learning more, we can setup a free 5-10min chat with them (we work with reluctant students all the time!). But if they've flat-out refused to engage, we'll say so afterwards. We'd rather help you find the right time to start than take on a program where your child isn't willing to show up.
How much parent involvement is expected?
Less than you're probably doing right now. Most of the work happens between your child and their EF Tutor. You'll get a session summary every week so you stay informed, and your tutor will reach out if they need your input on something specific. We'll also check in with you at the start of the program to align on goals, and at the end to reflect on progress.
What happens after the 8 weeks are up?
Your child leaves with a personal system they've actually built and practiced, not a packet we handed them. From there, some families continue with one of our ongoing school-year packages to keep the momentum going. Others take the summer as a standalone reset and return later if they need support. There's no pressure to continue.
Is this fully online?
Yes. All sessions are 1-on-1 over Google Meet, which means your child can work with their tutor from home, on vacation, or anywhere with Wi-Fi. This also lets us match your child with the best-fit tutor on our team, regardless of where you live.
How does the results-based guarantee work?
If at the end of the program your child hasn't shown any meaningful steps toward independence (and it's clear they've put in honest effort in and out of sessions), we'll laser in on one realistic outcome your family wants and work toward it together at no extra cost.
